Learning Center at Chautauqua Golf Club

The Young Readers Program At Chautauqua

The Chautauqua Young Readers program launches its 14th season of sharing outstanding books and exciting related special events. Featuring fiction, non-fiction and classics, the program aims to enrich the reading experience for young readers ages 10-14. Host Mike Sullivan and his guest, Jack Voelker, the Director of Recreation and Youth Services, discusses the history of the Young Readers program and previews the 2007 selections.

Chautauqua Theater Company Discusses 2007 Season

CTC performs in the award-winning, historic Bratton Theater.  Internationally known guest artist actors, directors, designers, and writers join eighteen emerging artists drawn from the nation’s top training programs to form a unique company that produces more than 50 events in 50 days. Under the leadership of Artistic Directors Vivienne Benesch and Ethan McSweeny and Managing Director Jessica Niebanck, the 2007 productions include Ah, Wilderness, CTC/NPW: VaidehiThe Just, CTC/NPW: Isaac & Ishmael and Much Ado About Nothing.

Storytelling – The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle (CLSC) Program
