Aaron Dworkin

In a lively conversation with long-time Chautauquan Kay Logan, Aaron Dworkin, founder and president of the Sphinx Organization in Detroit, Michigan, shares his passion for bringing more diversity – especially among Black and Latino youth – into the world of classical music. An accomplished violinist, Dworkin talks with pride about laureates from the Sphinx Competition, like the acclaimed Harlem String Quartet and laureates who will be performing in September at the historic Apollo Theater and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
