Jane Goodall

“Roots and Shoots,” the wildly popular global youth program inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall, has grown to over 9,000 groups in nearly 100 countries around the world. In this interview, Jane Goodall shares with The Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell, Chautauqua’s Director of Religion, the sources of her own inspiration and energy to carry out this work. In this week on family, she talks about the similarities between human and chimpanzee families, and how young people are raising the environmental awareness of their parents.
