Tom Becker discusses the forum in Doha, Qatar on U.S. Islam Exchange, sponsored by The Brookings Institution and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar; and the Knox Award for Lifelong Learning presented to the Chautauqua Institution by the Buffalo Arts Council.  Joan Brown Campbell shares news of the Abrahamic Committee and a recent program given on the Global Women’s Peace Initiative by Joan with JCC.  She discusses the impact of the Global Women’s Peace Initiative on women of the world.  Theme weeks for the 2007 summer season are discussed, along with the diversity of Lecturers and topics, as well as the 2007 Philosophy speakers.  Becker and Campbell share their excitement about the various speakers and their backgrounds, and what the Chautauqua community can learn from listening to differing points of view.
